|Edison State College Adds CASHNet® ePayment to Product Offerings for Campus Community|
Product offering security and PCI compliance is a draw for administrators and students alike
[New Haven, CT – April 20, 2011] – Edison State College, located in southwest Florida, has extended its Higher One® product offering to add the CASHNet ePayment transaction portal. Through a continued partnership with Higher One, a technology and payment services company focused on higher education, Edison State College will be able to offer enhanced services to its students while, at the same time, saving time and money.
The College has partnered with Higher One to implement a new and improved ePayment transaction system. The transition which is set to commence in mid-April, will improve, simplify, and further secure payment processing; this in turn will benefit both the student population as well as the College staff that serves it.

Edison State has been a Higher One client since implementing its OneDisburse® Refund Management® funds disbursement service in 2007. Based on the success with this program, administrators anticipate a smooth transition including improvements in reconciliation and batching.

About Edison State College
Lee County Campus has twenty-four permanent structures including the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall.
Collier County Campus opened in March of 1992. The beautiful campus is located on an 80-acre site near State Road 951 and Rattlesnake Hammock Road, in east Naples. The Charlotte County Campus opened in 1997. Located on a wooded site on Airport Road in Punta Gorda, the campus is an excellent addition to the Charlotte area. Edison also provides services to students in Hendry and Glades counties.
Edison State College is governed by its District Board of Trustees composed of nine representatives from Charlotte, Collier, Hendry, Glades and Lee Counties. The members are appointed to four-year terms by the Governor of Florida. Currently about 340 professional and support staff members provide the full-time instructional and support services for the more than 15,000 credit and nearly 3,000 non-credit students who participate in Edison courses and programs each year.
