Higher One - How We Work With Students

As a company founded by students, we at Higher One find it important to work with students at our clients. We do this primarily in two ways.

The Higher One Student Fund

Every time a Higher One cardholder makes a Debit MasterCard^® transaction, Higher One puts $0.01 into our student fund. This year, these contributions will amount to more than $30,000. This money is set aside to support student activities at our customer institutions. We work one on one with student leaders to choose programs and activities to support with these funds.

The Student Liaison

Higher One has a position dedicated to working with student leaders to answer questions, solicit customer feedback, and work on marketing, education, and special event sponsorship. Student leaders are given a special toll free number that rings directly to our student liaison.
